The 10th Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry & 13th Annual Conference of Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association (Bio-Forum 2008) Hosted by Modern Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry Office of Shanghai Municipality and Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association (CBA, USA)  has been held at Shanghai International Convention Center on May 28-30, 2008.

 With the theme of Biotechnology Innovation and Sustainable Development, the conference invited Avram Hershko (2004 Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry / Technion-Israel Inst. Tech. ), Jim Greenwood (President ,BIO,USA), Shu Chien (UCSD ), Kirk R. Smith (Nobel Prize Laureate in Peace / University of California),LI Guoqing (Director, Drug Evaluation Center, China SFDA) addressed their key-note speeches. About 140 speakers from USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Finland, Israel, Russia, Singapore, China Taiwan , China Hong Kong and China have given the excellent speech . More than 800 participants from more than 10 countries and regions have attended the conference.
