The 11th Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmacy, co-organized by the Modern Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry Office of Shanghai Municipality, supported by the Ministry of Science & Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the State Food and Drug Administration, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other government authorities, will be held at Shanghai International Convention Center in Shanghai on June 1-3, 2009.
As an international academic event on the most influential biopharmaceutical field, Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmacy (BIO-FORUM) has been successfully held for 10 consecutive times since 1996. It has brought great influence for the promotion of biotechnology & pharmaceutical innovation and industrialization. BIO-FORUM 2009 will keep the credo of “Foresight, Innovation, Cooperation and Development” and set “Bio-tech Innovation and Regional cooperation” as its theme. The forum will include:New Drugs and Generic Drugs, Bio-technology Drugs and Clinical Diagnosis Technology, Stem Cell and Biomedical Engineering, CRO and Technology Service,2009 China Pharmaceutical Industry Information, Training Course：Intellectual Property Rights and Drug Laws, Fosun Pharma’s Project Cooperation Meeting, Danish Biotechnology Day, Biomedical Technology Project Promotion and so on.. Nobel Laureates will be invited to attend the forum and make presentations. At the same time, the forum will explore the possibility of combining into it the “2009 China Pharmaceutical Industry Information”, an annual conference held by Shanghai Academy of Pharmaceutical Industry, in order to expand the influence and fame of the BIO-FORUM at the furthest and provide for the audience broader views and better opportunities.
